Details, If you are coming by car, please park in the empty lot across the street. If you need tires done, ship them to the above address, same with BBY or other items to use during the tech day. The early bird gets the good spots, so if you have a lot to do, or something complicated, come early.

There will be a swap meet, so bring old unused MC stuff to sell if you like. Bring cash to take home someone else’s goodies.

Breakfast, coffee and lunch is provided free. Tools will be available to use, and people tend to pass them around, so if you do not know where they belong, just put them on the table in the garage.

Lastly, tickets will be handed out for door prizes, so make sure you get one. Drawing at noon, or so.

This is rain or shine, and I have some pop ups, so no reason not to come.

Message me if you need my address.

Thanks,

Once I finish filming, I will display the goodies!

Thanks.

A set of helping hands... Last year there was an opportunity to learn about the proper steps to perform a 12K, change a tire, install additional lights, horn, gas tank maintenance. So if you are willing to roll up your sleeves you will meet a lot of great people from around country, seriously. Last year people came from several other states like New York, Carolina.

So true! The best part of a tech day is that all pitch in to help each other.

I will plan on being there early to get a good spot. I need to replace a leaky clutch cable, diagnose a failed side stand interlock, and replace the rear brake pads.

I will need supervision for the clutch hose replacement.

Thank you Jim!

You tech day was as fun as it was productive. I really liked the food too. Especially the Portuguese chorizo. =P~

The only suggestion for improvement is for you to read the correct numbers for the door prizes. I gave you dozens of tries but you still did not get my number. [-X

All kidding aside, bravo. =D>

Even the local club president got to work, go to it Bruce!

My old friend Jeff, Rocketman, came for some fun and work, new rear tire and oil change.

Another old friend Glenn came and lent a hand.

My friend Umberto was again the chef, with help from my wife Dina and my brother in law Florentino and his father Enrique. (They also donated Portuguese Chorizo, bread and wine to go with the burgers, dogs and chili. 80 burgers, 63 dogs and 2 gallons of chili were consumed, along with 40 waters, and 75 cans of soda and tea.

Many thanks to Jim, to your wife and to the many other volunteers and door prize contributors who made this very successful tech day possible. It's a one-of-a-kind event for the club that keeps growing. This was the biggest attendance I have seen, with riders coming in from at least 3 other states outside the normal range of BMWBMW.
