So last night I got Gertrudes first set of safety goggles in the mail. I looked at the destructions and figure 5minute job. Well, I was spot on the time for installation. I was off by a wee bit on the time needed to prepare for the five-minute installation. In the end, job done right is a job worth doing. who knew so much Tupperware needed to come off just to reach two tiny Hex Holes behind the head lights.

Nice. Does the grid pattern bother you at night?

I got used to it real quick, I took your advice and coated that lower part of the windshield with paint rubber stuff. Besides didn't you say ClearWater was chipping in for your tech day :-).

Or ride to work on I66 as the stuff on the roads right now have a very distinct side bouncing off my visor. I actually switched to the clear piece of plexiglass.

Is the headlight grill rigid or foldable?

? uh, the grill is a piece of aluminum, it is pretty sturdy but gives a tiny bit... Switch to the plexiglass for the winter. side note washes the bike yesterday and sure enough, I took a good hit and crack one of the corners a bit. But... no damage to the ~$1800 light :-) I will need to cut me a new but again no damage to the light.
