Not sure where to put this (Mods feel free to move) Since the big year end sale ($100 Xplore coupon) is on, who among you have things to say about beemer stuff? Especially the boots - the Santiago would be $290, the ProTouring $280, the All-Around for $135 - how do these compare with the competition :?:

I have been a very happy camper (read: never cold or wet toes even in freezing weather) with my current OXTAR Matrix. The OXTARs have served me well and are stll 98% waterproof after 60K miles so I hope the BMW boots won'tbe a disapointment.

I've had the Savannah boots (which have been updated as the Santiago boots) for a number of years, and they're the best boots I've ever used for riding. They're waterproof, though I did re-retreat them with Techtron this fall, and very comfortable. They can be a little warm in hot weather, but they offer excellent protection. I wouldn't hesitate to get another pair.
