I don't think Cruiserworks would work for me because my feet are narrow. I think that's why I like these new Jade boots. It feels like my feet are encased in a boot made just for me. Although I do like the way Cruiserworks looks also.

Their boots I have had for 3 years now leaked almost from day 1. Bobs wouldn't replace them, but would *send them back* to rev it for replacement or whatever from them. These were my only pair so I wasn't about to buy a pair to use waiting for a replacement. I have put up with wet feet now for years.
I have 2 pair of rev it *waterproof* glove, yeah riiiiight. I only buy their gloves because they do fit me and their boots have as well.
Your boots will be fine as long as you ride on dry days :) I think I am going with BMW all around boots when bobs gets my size in.

Try a set of knee length gaiters??

I had a GREAT pair of water proof boots, but without Gaiters the water would drain INTO them. I have drained over a cup of water out of each boot at times.

Now I have a pair of calf length gaiters, and my feet haven't been wet since.

Just thought I'd move this one in as the first review in the new forum. Carry on.

Firebird wrote:As for the boot leaking, my Oxtars will do that when riding in torrential downpours for more then an hour. The ReV'it boots are made of the same material as my Oxtars so I'm going to assume that they will act the same way if I ride in downpours for hours. Been there, done that. I really should get some rain covers for my boots and sneakers. I also have to get more waterproofing spray. I sprayed my current BMW Sneakers II and it helped a little, but it really doesn't help when you step in a deep puddle of standing water. :dunce:

If you're looking for WATERPROOF boots, then I can recommend Cortech'S WP Solution boot. First of all, they're super cheap--well in comparison to other boots, anyway. I've seen them on the web for $116. MSF instructors can buy them straight from Helmet House for a HUGE discount--I paid $97 including shipping for my last pair. I've stood on the range in 3-4" of water and not gotten wet. I've also ridden for hours in them in heavy rain and my feet seemed to be my only dry parts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. :D

Thanks guys for posting follow up comments. I had a similar experience with "waterproof" boots not being waterproof while riding. The closest I can figure is that the non-motorcycle riding boots usually have the lower part (may be 4inches waterproofed) while the togue area is laced. Water ends being driven into the tongue area for a soggy ride. I have to look for lighter 3E boots so I have gotten a nice pair of Propet but still need gaitors to be fully waterproof.

I'd like to hear more on this issue and trying to extend my riding into drizzle and light rain.

Summer weight Red wings Irish Setter line, comfortable enough to wear them all day at work and they don't leak no matter how hard it rains/pours etc hell you can stand in water up to the top all day and they won't leak period, and will last a life time. Not a riding boot, but a quality shoe line that can't be beat, hands down. The only boot I'll ever buy.
