Acquire a 400CC, air-cooled, single-cylinder classic motorcycle that makes perhaps 24HP (on a good day) and ride the piss out of it like the devil is after you (or like your next heart attack is just around the corner ) because we all know riding a slow bike fast is lots more fun than riding a fast bike slow!
Say, something like this (Still the most beautiful machine ever conceived or built)


Then go find some nice country lanes with little to no traffic thru some some nice farm land and forested areas on a nice sunny day, or better yet several, warm sunny days in a row...
and your worries will disappear (at least for the duration of your riding). You have my personal guarantee
I got in nearly 600 miles of riding in four days last week, very refreshing!

Here in Maryland, until recently, we had to have a very good reason for driving anywhere or face the prospect of a $5,000 fine or up to a year in jail. Now people can drive to golf courses, state parks, cemeteries, and various other places, but it's not clear that we can drive just for the fun of it. Dang bureaucrats! (Oops, I was one for 40 years.)

Anyway, before the stricter sanctions kicked in, I got out for a 399-mile "shelter in (a moving) place" drive to and through West Virginia. No West Virginians were harmed in the process of this drive, and vice-versa, mostly because the few other people I saw were a substantial distance away. And I took food and drinks with me. I'll finish the write-up soon.

As for your trips, they look great. Ride on, old son!
