Clifton @ 0830

Looks like most of Sunday is going to be pretty sweet riding weather.

I plan to be there (minus two extra layers). Anyone else plan on going for a ride afterwards?

Ok, I'll make that.

I'm in. The Princess has a failing rear main seal so I'll be on the KLR.

Nice turnout for a lousy weather! This is my first time at the new location and I really like it. Seating is a bit tight, but the food is fresh and good and there's good ambiance - Good call!

Good chow and nice crowd of club peeps showed up. I rode the hacked KLR. I was getting a "double" and headed to Gordonsville for a lunch RTE at the BBQ Exchange. Only one other guy showed for lunch. Rain gear worked ok. Just a slight dampness of the tookus and the usual leaking waterproof boots. Thankfully it was a warm rain.

I plan to take the cage. Although all the main roads are free of ice, my side street still has too much ice for me. I would say the main roads are passable on two wheels but with ice patches that could throw you down quickly. Of course, the caged maniacs are still recklessly zooming around.

If I go pick up my rig on Saturday, I might just show up on Sunday on a motorcycle :) Otherwise I'll be there in the car.

Just put all the Tupperware back on the bike so it is ready and I am a probably.... Shiver me timbers, it's gonna be a 45 min ride at about 17F. That'll really test the limits of my gear...even with heat.
