VA Breakfast this Sunday - 25 March!

Postby Chiba » Tue Mar 20, 2012 1:33 pm

9 am at the Chuckwagon, 12846 Fitzwater Drive, Nokesville VA
http://www.mychuckwagon.com

Anybody wanting to ride out from the Annandale area, meet me at the church on the corner of Braddock Road & Montgomery Street at 8 am. Forecast so far says 50% chance of rain ... we'll see!

I usually head home through the back roads of Prince William & Fairfax. Anybody wanting to come along is 100% welcome to do so!

You're organizing a motorcycle meeting point in a church parking lot on a Sunday morning?

UPDATE: A last minute change of plans means that I can't make the Chuckwagon after all. Enjoy it without me.

I thought I would ride over to you church meeting point until I realized that it is further to the meeting point (and in the wrong direction) than to just ride direct to Nokesville. So I'll see you at the Chuckwagon -- I am counting on the 50% chance of no rain!!

Well ... I now have 2 minor problems.

#1, depending on who you listen to, 80-90% chance of rain all day Sunday.

#2, my wife & kid want to come & I've got no rain gear for them.

So - it looks like I'm driving to breakfast on Sunday. Still happy to muster @ the church @ 8 & lead a train. Have 1 more seat in the car if anybody wants a lift :D

As the weather forecast becomes more dismal I am re-thinking this whole breakfast idea. I still plan on coming and will be riding a BMW, but if it is raining when ready to leave, it will probably have 4-wheels instead of two and the top will be in place. I think my wife will allow me to drive it.

Sunday Breakfast went very well, only a light drizzle on the way there, and a dry ride home.

4 bikes showed and a couple cages.

I had to be there in case a Maryland raid was to take place  but all was quiet on the southern front.

See you folks next time, and ride well,
