Flight 93 National Memorial

Join us for a ride through the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania to the Flight 93 National National Memorial near Shanksville, PA. This ride will be primarily on secondary roads. Total miles is just over 200+ miles.

We will stop for lunch near the memorial at Smokey Joe’s BBQ.

Timeline:
- 8:30 am Meet at Sheetz #186 in Winchester
- 8:45 am Riders Brief
- 9:00 am Sidestands Up
- 9 - 10:30 am Part 1; Winchester to Cumberland
- 10:30 - 10:50 am Rest Stop; Sheetz #129, 429 Virginia Ave, Cumberland
- 10:50 - 11:50 am Part 2; Cumberland to Flight 93 Memorial
Recommended time at each site
- 11:50 am - 12:10 pm Tower of Bells (20 minutes)
- 12:10 - 1:10 pm; Visitor Center (1 hour)
- 1:10 - 1:40 pm; Memorial Plaza (30 minutes)
- 1:40 - 3:00 (?)pm; Lunch; Smokey Joe’s BBQ; 7590 Lincoln Hwy, Central City, PA

We expect a large attendance so we will form up into small (5-7) riding pods. We need ride leads to lead these small riding pods. Let us know if you are willing and able to lead a riding pod.
