Fall Colors/Roads I’ve Never Been On

Join us as we take in the Fall Colors and explore unknown roads.

This ride is shorter than previous Fall Rides. Instead of riding Skyline drive, we will be exploring new roads between Rt 7 and Rt 211 with fast and slow twisties, some sweepers and ups and downs.

Outbound route is about one hour and 40 miles. Return route is about one hour 30 minutes and 50 miles culminating at Upperville for lunch at Hunter’s Head Tavern (on Rt 50).

Return route; Rt 211 to Washington, Fodderstack Rd (Rt 628), Rt 522, Crest Hill Rd (Rt 647), Leeds Manor Rd (Rt 688), Rt 17, Rt 50

Possible rain for Saturday, 26 Oct. Will monitor the forecast and make a decision as the date gets closer. Rain date will be the next day, Sunday, and start will be in Clifton instead.

Almost perfect weather for a great ride today. We had a small group consisting of Allan, Mark, Phoebe, Hunter and pillion Kayley. Lots of varied colors on the trees.

Highly recommend the following roads; Crest Hill Road/Rt 647 and Leeds Manor Rd/Rt 688.
