I S*CK ,Need your help

On my very first day of owning my new Rockster I manage to screw it up.
I didn't like the way it looked in the parking spot I was in and had it on the center stand. I was beside the bike and pushed it down,all the way down.
So my brand new magnesium heads now have asphault rash. Does anyone know if:
a. It will hurt the motor (it did not fall hard)
b. Is there any touch up paint available
c. How much and where can I find a replacement Cheap.

Sorry to hear you damaged your brand new bike. I don't have answers to your specific questions, but you probably skratched the bottom of the cylinder head cover. I suspect you did not have the plastic head protectors on. If you didn't, I'd install them and that should cover up the asphalt marks. It's probably pretty expensive to replace one.
These bikes are HEAVY! If they lean away from you when you are moving them around, you won't be able to keep them up. There shouldn't be any engine damage from those parking lot drops. But get those head guards on!

It's highly unlikely you damaged the motor. If you get an oil leak from the valve cover, you might need to replace it but might also get away with just renewing the gasket. In a REALLY bad hit to the cylinder (like in a collision) you might upset the base seal or something. If there are no leaks, then I doubt you damaged anything but the paint.

If you have the blue/green valve covers I can't suggest a paint, but if they're silver you might try Plasti-Kote "hi-performance classic fast dry lacquer No. 345 silver" .

I think you'd only find a replacement at the dealer. On the R1100 bikes the plastic protectors were as (or more) expensive than the covers, I think, but they didn't show the damage as much and they cushion some of the impact.

The first thing I did was get those plastic guards. They didn't cover the opps as much as I'd like, but they'll do. And No leaks as yet.
