Rear and front tire change. Not too hard. Lots of clean-up and a new tube, rim seal and tire on the front:












Then installed my recently powder coated Vetter fairing mounts.





Sharp people may notice a flashback from a previous build.

Installed the rear fender components, cleaned up and extended the headlight, front and rear signal wires, and assembled the Vetter. Next I install painted goodies.

Tossed on the bodywork for mock-up and to get a look, I couldn't resist.











Looks really good in person. I can't wait to fully assemble it and take it out for a ride in the sun!

Working on bling, I couldn't decide where to put this:

I did do some striping to the top case and side cases. I like the look of it:








Still removable, but I like it.

Next I need to decide what to do with the Vetter.

Trying to decide what stripes to use on the Vetter:



Decided simpler is better.



Need to find a gold version of this, or Sportster for here.


Then wet sanded and polished all of the parts but the top case.






Came out pretty good IMHO.

The HF 3" polisher was amazing for this.

Lastly if figured out why I keep popping fuses, Turns out I pinched a wire on assembly. Easy fix.

I like the decal best on the side covers because they are curved. I think the metal badges will look great on the gas tank.

The gold pinstripes look great with the root beer color paint. It's classy.

More reassembly. Bolted down the Vetter, plugged it in and tested the lights.




Lights are working well, except one LED array on the left signal.

All done. Just some fine tuning like graphics and light adjustments. Runs great!

Notched the Vetter to clear the air cleaner.


Then started playing with pin stripes.

I like the tank stripe, needs an HD logo above it.



Then I striped the battery cover. Not sure on this one. Here are a few shots of it.

Cockpit cleaned up with windscreen on.

Final stripe configuration achieved. I like it. No strip on the battery cover, added the HD logo over the stripe on the tank. My CDO is tweaked by the fact that the tank stripe doesn't line up with the fairing stripe from certain angles, but not much to be done with that. If I moved the stripe to match the Vetter, it would look odd from other angles.
