Tech Day at Morton's BMW 1/12/2019

Please join us on Saturday, January 12, for a free tech day with our service staff!

Our crew will be demonstrating adjusting Boxer twin valves (screw & nut and shim types), brake services (pad and fluid replacement for non-power assisted brakes), roadside tire repair, and more. Bring your questions and learn from the pros!

* This is being held in conjunction with our annual Chili Cook-Off, so there will be free food, too!

They'll be going on throughout the day. If you want to make sure not to miss a particular topic, give service manager Stuart Beatson a call (540-891-9844) or drop him a note (service@mortonsbmw.com) to make sure of his schedule.

Don't forget, it's our chili cook-off day, too, so come on in and get some free food with your service learning.

OK, I just got the schedule of sessions on our Tech Day this coming Saturday (1/12/2019).

According to service manager Stuart Beatson, they are planning to start at 10:00 with valve adjustment demonstrations, with screw type adjustment bikes on one lift and shim type adjustments on the other. They'll be using twins due to the easier visualization, but will explain the differences involved in the inline engines. They are planning on this until 11:00. If necessary, they can and will extend the time necessary.

At 11:00 they plan on moving into brake services. One lift will be for brake fluid flushing (not servo brakes) and the other for pad replacement. Again, if necessary we can extend the time.

At noon, they will be doing roadside tire repair, followed by an open Q&A. We will not be limiting the subject matter.
