Tech Day March 2018

Good Evening,

First I want to say I truly enjoyed meeting so many people and breaking bread at the holiday party. I agree, talk about a fancy place for a bunch of bikers to eat at. Who knew, I would have been given pro-bono guidance from counsel. Educated about a great place coming to Opal for maintenance. And learn kids in Canada are "borrowing"
WWII planes. (And yes the french toast was seriously delicious...)

At the holiday party, I told Jim Tech Days is one of the big reasons I joined the club. I like others want to learn how to perform basic maintenance on my bike. So guess what I am hosting one March 17th (St Patty day). I hope you can find time to come on out at least for a hot minute.

I live in Bristow,Va and I have a two car garage, with a driveway, so we will have a covered space, I will light up the grill for some hot dogs and hamburger, we will have non-alcoholic drinks, water and coffee.

Tech days are great times to get those needed services done, repairs done, adding all kinds of farkles, and to learn how to do it yourself from experienced guys! OR, just show up and hang out. It is always fun to meet fellow riders, watch them work, talk, and sometimes tease them good-naturedly.

I hope to see you there.

(Please PM for address)

Alrighty, this is turning into a little Irish tasting, not that I mind my wife's cooking. Here is what she wants to prepare for those hearty souls willing to brave the harsh March weather to turn a few wrenches. I was told this is all finger food worthy as I kept trying to explain this is a Tech Day!

1. Beef and Guinness pies (muffin sized)
2. Irish Rarebit
3. Bangers & Mash
4. Coffee, tea (Green and Black), water

Disclaimer: The Stroud Manor (inside joke, smallest house in the neighbourhood) is not responsible for possible full tummies, allergic reactions to real tasty Irish food or the possible food comatose from cooking with real ingredients.

Thank You Mr & Mrs David -- for stepping up and hosting a 2018 'Slack Pack'!

Mr & Mrs Ager will pencil the date in on our calendars, and we certainly hope to drop by and maybe do necessary work on our future Alaskan Adventure BMWs!

I think the Retired Mrs Membership can locate you on the surface of the planet... :P We look forward to meeting your Better Half + her bike! :purdy:

Will we see you at Battley Cycle's Last BMWBMW Club Event? :flask: Soon to become a District Harley Davidson outlet... :rider: :rider: :rider:

Ciao!

Good Evening,

I wanted to post the times for this little event and then I thought mmm Maybe I should just ask Jim. Jim knows a lot of things. So for March the coffee will be piping hot starting at 9am and we will go till the food runs out, the lies are all told and everyone's bikes that had a Farkle to add, a part to bend back in place or the last drop of oil is in the last identified boxer engine. I hope to see you there. Cheers.

Good Evening,

Alrighty, My wife is starting to shop for what will be on the menu, and asked me for a head count for cooking purposes. Per the cook (aka the boss), I respectfully request for an RSVP (PM) by 10 March 2018 if you are coming with an appetite ;-). If you are coming without an appetite than I would appreciate a PM by the 15th. Have a great night.

A special hello to everyone that showed up today at Bob's BMW.

This is just a friendly reminder for this event.

Just so you know this is all made from scratch I hear some of it may have a wee bit of Whisk[e}y in the recipes.

I have six RSVPs thus far (including +1 Bruce).
My wife and I would sure like to see you at this event.

"I respectfully request for an RSVP (PM) by 10 March 2018 if you are coming with an appetite ;-). If you are coming without an appetite than I would appreciate a PM by the 15th.

As I briefly mentioned today, this is turning into a little Irish tasting, not that I mind my wife's cooking.

March 2018 Tech Day!

3. Bangers & Mash

I may be able to come to your tech day. We are in the middle of moving house, so my time is somewhat limited.

I am for some reason unable to PM you for your address. Please pm me back with this.
