So, new year, new work?

Who wants to host a Tech day this year?

Please feel free to volunteer. I will update this post as they become confirmed.

January: No volunteers.

February:

March: 17th, Bristow, VA Info to come. Link to Tech Day!

April: 7th Annual JVB Tech day in Alexandria. April 21st. Link to tech day!

May:

June: June 2nd, Tech Day at the Square Route Rally in Thurmont, MD: Link to tech day.

July:

August:

September:

October:

November:

December:

I have both the old and new GS911s, two Harmonizers (throttle body sync tools) and virtually any needed tool for any regular services and most repairs.

Tech days are great times to get those needed services done, repairs done, adding all kinds of farkles, and to learn how to do it yourself from experienced guys! OR, just show up and hang out. It is always fun to meet fellow riders, watch them work, talk, and sometimes tease them good naturedly.

Most tech days will have covered spaces, usually involving food, non-alcoholic drinks, and the tools needed. Some include the ability to change tires among other things.

Please join us!

Good Evening Jim,

It was a pleasure meeting you today.

I would be happy to host a Tech Day in March. Generically what weekend-day works best for you and most folks, Saturday or Sunday? Off the cuff looking at the calendar I see the 10th or 17th of March is good for me to host.

Cheers David.

Hi David,

March 17 looks good.

If that is your preference we will set you up for it.

Nice meeting you too! It was a fun afternoon!

I am the point of contact, and will attend all of the tech days if I am in town. Each person that wishes to host a Tech Day need only to contact me and volunteer. I will assist in setting up the tech day and any needed logistics.

If you wish to attend, simply post on the tech day thread you wish to attend (you can attend all if you want), and send a message to the host for the address.

Thanks,

Jim

I'm always happy to host a tech day but I think I'm too far south for many people to travel to - I'm in Glen Allen, VA, which is northwest of Richmond about an hour south of Fredericksburg...

Assuming, I am not travelling for work, it does not conflict with Des Moines, SRR, New Sweden 450 .... I will show up, heck I was just down that way last weekend for the club Presidents rides...

Okay, I guess it is about time to have another tech day at the Stroud Manor. We are thinking about 13th of OCT which is a Saturday. Let us know what you think? I hear from the chef we are having an Oktoberfest theme menu. Peeking over her shoulder I see Pretzels, beer cheese, and Reuben potatoes...

For what it's worth, that's the same day as our Morton's BMW Oktoberfest open house.
