Nope, but it is obvious from the source code it wouldn't. It needs to end in .jpg, .gif. bmp.

Paul--

That's the URL for the Web page that contains the image, which (strange as it may seem) is not the same as the image location.

Open the Web page again and (1) right-click on the photo, then (2) click Copy Image Location.

Now, (3) open the BMWBMW message form, (4) click Img, (5) right-click (with your cursor inside the message form) and (6) select Paste. (7) Click Close Tags and you're done.

Go to the bottom of the message form and click Preview. If you see the photo, then we will too.

Certain image locations block hosting by making it impossible to remote view a picture, Yahoo is one of them.

Try hosting your pictures for free on a site like www.photobucket.com

You can post pics from Yahoo, as John proves, but it isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. I think I typed up some pretty exhaustive steps.

The post I wrote about Snapfish is virtually the same as posting pics from Yahoo.

But no one can see it unless they have Yahoo and are signed into it.

Hmm, the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial image was here for a while and then got replaced by the broken image symbol. I wonder if I got away with linking to Paul's Yahoo!-hosted photo until Yahoo! started seeing repeated hits. :?

Paul, it's back to Jim's advice: get a less restrictive host. For most everything else, the steps I sketched for putting a photo in a message will work. :)

nuk nuk nuk

But seriously, take a Kodak #47 blue wratten filter. While looking at the picture through the filter, adjust your color intensity to make the two outer bars equal to the ones above, and adjust the HUE to make the two inner bars equal to the long bars above.
