Clifton Breakfast Ride - 24 March

Postby jcabiles » Mon Mar 18, 2019 7:41 pm

Sunday’s weather is projected to be in the 60’s. A perfect day for a ride.

The question is, who’s in for a ride after breakfast and to where?

How about heading down thru Summerduck, vai Elk run, then up past Kelly's Ford to Remington, then on to Jeffersonton at 211. From there we could do Leads Manner to Crest Hill to Willson back into Warrenton. Lots of great views and nice 2 lane curvey blacktops. Probably around 4-5 hours, I'll lead and try not to leave anyone behind (no promises) :)

Five hours makes for a long day. How about three or four?

Maybe we’ll just ride faster and keep up with you.

Anyone can pull out when we get to Jeffersonton at Rixieville and 211 and head back toward Warrenton, that would cut off about an hour, or leave anytime before.
Or, as u say ride like a rocketman...... :P

Cilfton va at the Main Street pub right at the RR crossing, start time 8:30 AM and we usually finish up by 10 or so.
