I think Morton's is having something that day to regarding comms systems, so I might go there first because I need one. But you're just around the corner from me. Would be nice to finally meet.

I got a Cardo Bold, works great, failed at syncing up with Bruce on the last ride. He had another type. see yea soon.

We're having Cardo Day on Saturday, with reps on hand to answer questions about their systems.

In addition, for those who need parts and such, our parts guys will work hard to give you the best prices possible, especially on tires. And speaking of which, I run the Conti TKC70s on my R 1150 GS, and they do great on the street and decently off-pavement (until you get to deep mud or sand).

I can't seem to sign up through the meetup. I do think I'm going to head to Morton's first (maybe in the car, for shame!). I think this is an all day tech fest, I'd love to stop by on the way back. I have a dumb project I want some supervision on.

So I saw Steve at Cardo day and did too much shopping to make it to Tech day to see anyone other than David and Carol. After everyone was gone, they were most gracious to my latecomer status, and we talked more bikes for a bit and I got home before the sun went down.

My 600 mile service took less time than it took for the Cardo guys to figure how to get my unit to pair with the RT. I didn’t clear Morton’s until almost 3, so headed for the barn. Hope to meet everyone next time.

T'was great to rendezvous with 'all y'all' who attended the November "Slack Pack."
Snow came a few days earlier this year (as compared to 2017!).

We'd like to offer Many Thanks to David & Carol who put out the red carpet for folks seeking service & comfort food(s)! :flask:

We're visiting the property in Ft Wa in order to check its status as well as pack another load of furniture (but we're finally getting everything into the new house). Don't actually know how much 'Uncle Sam' pays to move us 'former GIs' from station to station, but we're doing this one by ourselves -- one 15' U-Haul at a time {which is Not cheap by any means - 3+ truckloads so far}.

Call or txt if you're passing thru "Rocket City" Alabama on your future LD adventures. Hope you get a 2019 Rides Challenge! If we're not out touring, we have two guest rooms and a "mother-in-law apartment' above the garage...

Ciao,
P & K + Pops
