Looking forward to the tech day scheduled in Nov, I have purchased the parts from beemer boneyard to change rear drive oil and lube the drive shaft splines, additionally I would like to change the engine oil and if time allows adjust valves during the oil change if experienced help is available. I don't have feeler gauges for the valve check or the shims, If they require changing does anybody have a shim kit they could bring and of course I would purchase/exchange shims. After all that if the GS911 is available would like to see the new alignment procedures on the wet head. Oh and I have a set of carbon fiber dog ears to swap with the silver ones...

Sounds like a lot of technical work to me....
Cheers, Phil
P.S. I'm working on my new homestead in HSV. Just installed garage-door opener #2 today.

I also purchased Jims DVD and have watched it, my only complaint is he should have used my TB to show off how pretty the GS can be...
I'm going to bring the bike over in my trailer, plus if I break it I can haul it to the BMW store...
What was the tire brand and model you have on your GSA? I purchased a set of TKC-70s but have been rethinking my riding preferences and may sell those off and purchase more of a street tire.

I have a few different sized shims in stock. You won't need them but if you give me a call.

I think Morton's is having something that day to regarding comms systems, so I might go there first because I need one. But you're just around the corner from me. Would be nice to finally meet.
