FOUND: BMW SIDECASE, Shirlington

Postby Banshee » Thu Jun 21, 2018 5:18 pm

I found a BMW sidecase this afternoon on the Shirlington exit off I-395. If it is yours or someone you know please send me a message.

Hold On, let me run out to the garage.....

Nope, mine are accounted for, But It wouldn't be the first time I lost one...

Hope the owner chimes in or otherwise contacts you (in case of embarrassment :emb: )

Take care,

I have lost one too eap - which is why I took pity to pull over and pick it up.

I don't have the storage space in my apartment to keep this bag though - do you guys think I should turn it into the police or what?

thanks,
Holley

A man on another board that I follow, dropped a case in that area but went back for it.
I pm'd him and asked if he had lost it again.
He said it wasn't his though.
I tried.

Off which model and vintage? Identifying marks, stickers, etc.? Exact location where found? Pictures? A little more information might help this orphan find its way home.

Thanks for checking Bryant.

Hi dcgsrider, my plan was to sort of have the person describe the bag who is trying to claim it. You know how shady BMW riders are!

I’ll give it a few more days before I toss it.

Maybe if you advertise it for sale on Craigslist, someone looking to replace the one they lost will respond. :D

I agree with DCGSRIDER, even in the game of Clue they gave some hints. If it has stickers on (like any pannier should) the owner should be able to at least get some of them by memory. If it was my pannier you would know due to all the micro-brew stickers... Oh wait, I mean, (darn it :-P)
