Out on the SR for a lunch run

Postby RocketMan » Wed Apr 08, 2015 7:12 pm

Got in a nice ride the other day, temps hit the low 70's, sure was nice to ride "unencumbered", i.e. no need for the heavy riding gear, just jeans, my riding sneakers, leather jacket and open face helmet. Rode out to one of my favorite places to eat a light lunch, they make great samashes. Did around 85 miles of back roads and hit red-line in 5th, speedo said 89 so around 83-85 actual, too kool! Saw a dude taking pics of the bike while I was eating and we had a nice chat. He rode back in the day and said he might just have to pick of these up!
