Clutch Fluid

The Mineral Oil based Clutch Fluid for the 2008 R1200RT seems to be no longer available...according to the Microfiche. What is the replacement and where is it available? What precautions are there in replacing? Jim

Here's one option http://www.beemerboneyard.com/magminoil.html I suspect our local dealers and independent service shops will have this in stock -- call around. Allegedly this Magura-brand fluid is what was delivered in your bike, and likely was rebranded as BMW Mineral Oil Clutch Fluid. Scott

Just out of curiosity, why are you replacing it? The mineral oil clutch fluid does not get replaced under normal circumstances, unlike brake fluid. Did you do some work that necessitates replacing the clutch fluid?
