I used to live 20 miles from there. Lots of great roads, and that time of year nice weather.

It sounds like a long time, but it went by in a flash--only a couple of "death march" days of 800+ miles (mostly in the Midwest). It's really "only" three weeks of vacation, plus a weekend on each end.

I agree with all......this could be an awesome venue next year. I've already put in for my vacation time!! Some of the local attractions that come to mind.......

Just got back from a "Coast to Coast" yesterday. Part of which included Oregon.

We went to Redmond in 2010, we will do Salem too. Some went to see the Spruce Goose...

Take about 2 weeks to do the whole ride with MOA in the middle and it is a nice vacation. Then it is not 3 weeks off. Also, make sure to include 191 in Utah/Wyoming at the Flaming River reservoir. One of the 10 best roads in the country for sure and it is on the way...
