It makes things convenient plus being close to Cabin John Park is a big plus. The camel is a memory of my kibbutz in Israel. It was a small community where we all shared the vehicles and they were identified by this sticker (I'm not sharing this one though

.
I got the knobbies the same week I came back from the GS academy in Greer, SC (
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 1724d6c9dc). I took my GS after that to the same challenging off-road spots I was riding with the Tourance tires and the difference was like night and day. I mostly ride pavement just to get to the off-road spots, so I will always be using knobbies from now on. They do wear faster than the others, and they are a bit bumpy. You feel it only when you come to a stop - It rides well on normal and highway speeds. When the roads are wet I have to reduce the lean angle more so than the Tourance, but I never felt compromised by this in any way. I know how much you "love"

the GS look, and the knobbies even push the rugged look further - I LOVE my GS AKA Helga!
