A little rally etiquette lesson - Chaz is correct that it would be a question for the rally master. However, I would suggest asking the question privately. Not publicly on a message board. Go to the rally website, I think it's Capefear1000.com, but if not, I would think Jim noted it in his first post. (if not, google is your friend) There will be contact information for the rally master on the event's web site.

And Tim, [-X whether or not a space opened up or whether or not there is a waiting list isn't your call!

Miss Kitty is exactly correct - a question like that would be properly kept private between the RM and yourself. Sorry I failed to make that clear.

Now.......... Looks like BMWBMW will be well represented. As I read the rider lists, we've got:
Sonar and Big Dave in Florida...
Myself, the entire Executive branch (Mademoiselles President and Vice President), and bstransky in Tennessee...
And Miss Kitty and Marty in NY.

Who did I miss? It's late, and the gin & tonic may have gotten to me!

Some corporations do not allow their leadership team to travel together, I hope we are not in violation of bylaws here.

Is there a consensus regarding Days Inn vs. Comfort Inn or another motel? I'm working on the itinerary for my pre-rally tour and would like to nail down my motel reservations soon if possible.

I've edited my previous post from page 2 to clear up any confusion.

No. In case there is any doubt, mother nature provided a nice skim coat of ice this morning.

Does anyone need a Terry Hammond sticker? I have some extras.

I'm finally starting to think about arrangements now, Bob. Did you make a reservation yet?

Not yet - any preferences? I started thinking about it again yesterday when I saw Jim Bain at the RTE in Augusta.

I booked a room at the Days Inn in Savannah for Wednesday and Thursday. It has two beds, and I'm only gonna use one, so the other one is available.
