April Tech Day - Directions and Sign-up

Postby BKling » Sat Mar 21, 2009 8:52 am

Here is the location of the April 4 Tech Day

17035 Hamilton Station Rd
Hamilton, VA 20158

If you plan on attending, please reply here. It will help with preparations.

Also, I do NOT have a tire changer, I don't know if anyone wants to change tires, but if someone would like to volunteer to bring theirs, it might come in handy.

I live on a private road off Hamilton Station Rd so when you arrive at the address, you'll proceed to the end (only about 1/8 mile to the house.

Here's a pic.

Count me in.

If anyone needs any lights installed (mine or otherwise), I'll be bringing the necessary tools/connectors, etc.

Here's a Google maps link to Brian's place. Enter your your address in box A to get driving directions.

Dang. It's the start of the Spring break and I have guests coming into town for the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Now, I have to think of a devious plan to get out and do some maintenance

Well, I don't have any issues (NO COMMENTS PEOPLE!) but I'll be there! :TheTina:

Also - Bryant's road to his house is gravel but it's easy to travel on. Just giving you a heads up.

Cool gravel makes great rooster tails. Just kidding Bryant, I wouldn't abuse your road like that. Now, about Tina's issues... how much time ya' got. :-)

p.s. I'm a definite maybe. That translates into: If I'm in town I'm coming for sure, but I've got about three things up in the air that could take me out of town. I'll post a definite answer when I can.

I have no work to do on my bike. So I'll be there to hold back the progress of everyone else! Any specific tools or other stuff I should bring?

Not really sure about that one. Probably when the wifey looks angry or the dog bites someone.

I think most of them run until most people leave.

All the ones I've hosted usually ended around 5:30 to 6. Some went a little longer but that's usually it.

Well, I think most people will leave when the dog bites someone, so you're covered. :D
