Possible RTE with a Rounder this Sunday

Postby RocketMan on Wed Oct 22, 2008 4:40 am

Kevin, Gail Hatch's husband is rolling thru town this weekend and may be laying over at my place (I'll know more by Sat.) so I thought that since we have some rounders here on the board that maybe we could have a RTE on sunday afternoon/early evening somewhere mid-way between Woodbridge and Kensington, MD where Jacco from the rounders lives and is hoping to meet up with Kevin as well. Maybe someplace just west of central DC? Have look at some places but if anyone has a suggestion. Either that or east of DC for some seafood that's not too long a haul?

(I wouldn't mind taking him to Harbor Place (Washington Harbor ?) that I went to a while ago and posted a report here, I believe, but it a bit on the pricey side, though with the enclosed open-air eateries there is kinda cool to be able to sit "outside" regardless of the weather! but I get any takers I'd be happy to go for anything that has good eats.)

If anyone is interested let me know and I'll keep you all updated on Kevin's possible arrival. He's headed down to Gary TN where the 09 MOA is being held today and returning thru here Sat-Sun.

I haven't seen Kevin in a long time. Count me as a "Possible", I'll be coming from PA so the closer to MD the better for me!

Well Kevin got in to town, but not till after 6 PM on Sunday so we just ate at home and had a nice visit. I wasn't even sure till Sat. afternoon if he was going to be stopping in DC and I had no working internet connection since Friday afternoon due to having to rebuild my laptop since the old hard drive was failing and I couldn't get a clean back up the system files due to a bad sector which naturally was where some of the critical files for the OS were! But At least I now have a fresh un cluttered drive with twice the storage. Sorry I couldn't get on to post an update, but such is life, maybe next time!
