Not a suggestion but a Thank You

Postby wiredcur on Sun Sep 14, 2008 10:29 am

I just tried it and it worked great.

You can now insert a Smilie where ever you put the cursor. Unlike the old version where it would always put the smilie at the end of text.

Thank you!

It's the little things that make me happy. :D

Did we figure out how to have a new webpage window open up when we follow a link from a thread? I hated having to backpage to the forum after reading 4 pages a Babar the elephant social trauma.

Right-clicking will give a menu giving an option to open the link in a new page.

If by "we" you mean "jeremy", then yes, it involves code and hasn't been incorporated yet.

Here are the things I have to work on
-Fix the link colors and black on black text colors
-Tweak the background colors of posts just a little
-Tweak the theme a little
-Document new features and icons that the site uses for people like mabster
-Install the launch link in a new window code
-add more smilies
-make the top image link back to the bmwbmw.org home page

my personally imposed deadlines for getting these done have come and gone due to other obligations with family and etc. But it will be soon.

And if I've missed anything, don't hesitate to reply
