I'm going about my first attempt at posting a photo -- so I'm a Luddite!

Almost. Just put the pics' url in between the [img].[/img] tags. With out the dot in the middle. I just did that so the img tags would show up in this post

Ric, Thanks. Now I need to figure out how to decrease the image size :oops:
Once I get this sussed out I can get a travel report posted. Scott

Not sure about your image program but the specs I use for web stuff is 72 DPI with 1024 X 768 dimensions. And we have found that the sRGB color space is the most compatible with the average monitor.

Often the host website can resize the picture on the fly when you upload one

800 X 600 works well here. I tried posting a couple at 1024 X 768 and the site clipped them. Be sure to preview before submittine.

Same happened to me. Now that I'm getting my sea legs on posting pix, when I get some free time I'm going to put together something on the northern Norway ride. Scott
