My Bike

Stop and smell the roses, and while you're at it take a picture or two.

Hi Dennis, welcome to the fold!

That is an interesting mounting place for the PIAAS, where did you get the mount?

The mounts and lights are compliments of the previous owner. They don't seem to be a production item, I would guess homemade. Just a simple piece of aluminum pop-riveted to cylinder head guards. There was also a clothes pin involved.

Have a look.

I'll have to tell you about the clothes pin...once I get a replacement ... when I went to shoot the pix it was gone otherwise I would have gotten a shot of it too.

Very cool! I love an innovative, and cheap, design!

Storymitchel,
Thanks again for a great introduction to sidecars,
how they work, different types, their history,
and even a demo ride.

You're right. Riding with a sidecar IS a bit different,
but I went off the road only once, rode over a curb
only once, and almost peed myself only twice.

So I think I did pretty well. :P
