I asked for donations from ADVMotorad, seller of Bumot luggage and other items: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=834238

Here is the reply:

Hi Jason,

Whichever works for

I included a sales receipt (at 100% discount) in case you want to use the retail value for the giveaways. I also included some of our line cards and pens, and would love it if you can make them available for folks to pick up.

Thanks and have a great rally (and tech day!)....

Jason

Hi Jason,

That is fantastic. We will have them available for pick-up at registration, then any leftovers will go to the rally sales table.

Your rally donations are very much appreciated!

PS I hope our Rally Chair is hot on my other vendors! :-)

Oh, and of course, a set of DVDs and the new Wethead USB will be given by JVB Productions.

Some random thoughts about handling registration at the camp:

Last year when I arrived the coffee cups were already stuffed with the program, meal tickets, and door prize tickets. Two of us were able to handle registering (handling out wrist bands and coffee cups, checking off arrival, handling onsite registrations).

Will the coffee cups be stuffed again ahead of time or will we need to do that during registration? If not ahead of time, we will need three at registration early on.

We need a sorted list of pre-registrations including passengers and including both on-line and paper registrations.

We need a list of current members so we can help those who register on-site know what they owe.

Ensure that the on-site registration form has the waiver disclaimer, too.

We will need a cash box with some cash to make change for on-site registration.

Will we be able to take credit cards on-site? Who supplies the machine and internet connection? If we won't take credit cards, please put up something on the website. Last year I recall we used Karen's phone with Kurt's cube and hot spot.

We should keep registration open Friday until after the Chili dinner so people arriving from work can get their meal ticket.

Oops. I missed the comment about first 50 rally shirts.
The list of pre-registered people needs to show who is in the first 50.

I have several left over Tech Day Door prizes that I will bring to the rally. I will post them later.

One is a 180/55/17 Z6 tire, new.

Jon, Traditionally the cups are stuffed on Thursday evening by the set-up crew. Drew can let you know if that's the plan this year. If not there should be sufficient time to do this on Friday before official opening. I should be able to help when I arrive around 1PM Friday. Scott

Coffee cups? I was using it wrong; I put beer in it.

The club has a square credit card reader for smart phones. However it would require internet connectivity, I assume. Who is familiar with the Square device?
