I saw two 2011 RTs yesterday on the showroom floor that had dramatically different seats from the 10's and earlier models. These we both low versions, but is this seat new to all new RTs and is the riding position and feel dramatically different? Any other changes for the new model year?

- Bump -

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? The 2011s on the floor has distinctly different seats from the 2010s and the BMW website doesn't show these either.

Is it just a function of the low version, or a different saddle with other changes?

Sorry, I just now saw this post. What you saw on our floor are the low versions of the RT. They come with lower suspension and a one-piece lower seat. That combination brings the RT seat height down to 29.5". They've been out for a couple of years now, and have been pretty popular for us, especially with people coming off various cruiser-style bikes.
