Stop and smell the roses, and while you're at it take a picture or two.

Peaks of Otter morning time lapse

Postby RocketMan » Sun Aug 28, 2016 5:04 pm

While I was staying at the Peaks of Otter Lodge week before last on a little 4 day ride I took on the Parkway before starting my new job, I shot a nice little time lapse of the morning clouds rolling past and over the Peak across the lake from the lodge. I was fairly cool in the AM and lots of low clouds rolling by and it was interesting watching the temperature difference between the air and the peak causing some small clouds to from as the air rushed past the peak. I shot it at one frame every 5 seconds and playback rendered at 15 frames a second. The whole series was shot over a period of something over an hour. Again taken with the Lapse It Pro android app on my Samsung S5 active.
