Taken with my Samsung S5 using lapse-it Pro

first was at one frame every 15 seconds, play back at 20 frames a second

You can find several types of mounts usually ones that have a spring clip, kind of like mounts for cars, but can be threaded onto a standard tripod. Tons of makes on Amazon or camera sites for $20 or less.

Very impressive! Just checked my Motorola and despite the high res camera, the stock app doesn't have the ability to take pictures on a time interval. Certainly something to be said for those Samsung phones.

If its an Android device you can download the Lapse-it app from google play. I have the Pro version that has better option for resolution of the rendered MP4 file but the free version is decent.
