A pretty amazing collection of old trucks on Rt. 234

Postby RocketMan » Thu May 10, 2012 9:06 am

Just a quick teaser for a series of photos taken of a rather amazing collection of old vintage and antique trucks I came upon recently parked along Rt. 234 near the PW county dump in front of construction/excavation company office. Seems (from what I can gather) they all belong to a single individual being the owner of said company. After seeing them on my ride some two weeks ago I headed back last Sunday with the Nikon (which I haven't used in some time) and took a series of around 150 bracket images. The collection includes one truck going back to 1930 make by the White Company. Really neet collection and it would appear they are all in operable condition. Wow, just Wow!

So here is a short series teaser showing the line up of all the trucks. When I finish processing the rest I will post additional selected photos and a link to my site with the complete series.

The red pickup in the middle is an International Harvester. It looks like our son's '55, 'tho his isn't so shiny.

Rather than post them all here I'll just put a link to my web page for them. The rest, mostly of the smaller 50's picks will come later.

WOW, nice collection. May be I need to buy these more for my auction website and increase my collection. BreakDown Truck for sure steals the show.
