My walk and ride on greatness

Stop and smell the roses, and while you're at it take a picture or two.

My walk and ride on greatness

What a rush it was to have done this. An opportunity completed off my Bucket List.

I got up to 50mph. I could have gone faster, but the flats isn't as smooth or stable as it looks in pictures. I was being conservative and just wanted to get a feel of what it was like to ride on it. It was FANTASTIC! :D I can't want to go again. The speed trials are later in August. I think I might go next year and see the trials and maybe do the BUB just for the heck of it.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing. I would love to give that a shot on the bike. I'll leave my gear on and not pull a Rollie Free. Besides, it looks better doing that on a Vincent than a 1150RT.
