Driving around drunk with with Dr. Fork

Stop and smell the roses, and while you're at it take a picture or two.

Driving around drunk with with Dr. Fork

Ok, so not That kind of drunk, drunk with exhilaration would be more the case here..some of you may recognize the title phrase, its from firesign threatre where someone responds to a question about the location of one the characters in the story and they respond with the above phrase, there is just something about the response and way it was said (as if this was a perfectly reasonable and acceptable thing to be doing, i.e. driving around drunk) that has always tickled me; so I'm thinking of naming the new car "Dr. Fork" in homage to that line......

Anyway, took Dr. Fork out for a nice 4 hour cruise down some of my favorite local roads, (nice two lane twistys with a few unmarked narrower roads thrown in with even a bit of gravel) Sunday. Man what a gas this car is to drive! Now I've owned or driven any number of fast cars, big motor cars, muscle cars and what have you over the years such as the mid 70's Mustang Mach I, Pontiac's with the famous Rocket 350ci motor and even owned a tricked out 57 Chevy with a 283 and Hurst(sp?) shifter but this new car is just Way more fun and handles So much better! Like with the new Honda IT i got last year, the improvements in suspension, handling engine response over the past 30 years is just amazing (DUH!!!!)
This car is more fun than a barrel of monkeys (which I have actually seen in action thanks to Dave Garroway from an early episode of the Today Show when he was host).

Dr. Fork is a sassy-looking car. Sounds like you made a worthy choice!
