Rt 16 is a tight and twisty Virginia Byway, very well-kept except for the occasional gravel that a cage has kicked up on the pavement. I can't recall any road where I've spent more time at high revs in 1st gear. --John (Next I want to do Rt 42 -- which intersects Rt 16 -- in that part of the state.)
