The 24 hour has a starting location in Altoona. I'm still on the fence about that vs a more southern location. It was COLD COLD COLD last year during The Void. However, the year before was beautiful.

Just printed out my forms...

We'll need to make our hotel reservations before we can register, it looks like.

This year, I hope to at least manage to EAT with everyone (guess it would be too much to hope for, getting credit for last year's dinner not eaten).

Maybe I'll even finish the 10 hour respectably.

Okay. Checks mailed. Room reserved... This year's VOID will be our THIRD "Motorcycle-Wedding Anniversary." I'm seeing a pattern here.

So. Who else is in for the VOID III?

Yes, Chiba is a monster and not to be ignored. He really did well in my scavenger hunt!!!

I'm in, but still haven't sent my stuff in. The 24 hour, probably start in Altoona, but could change my mind if I get freaked out about the weather.

So who is in? If you have any thoughts on giving this sort of riding a try, The Void is a great place to try it out. The 10 hour version is low key. I think Scott and Gary do a GREAT job putting on a fun event. The 24 hour is similar to the Cape Fear 1000 last year - starting locations peppered around to draw more riders. I'm registered for Altoona, but might change that closer to the start...

Give it a shot!!!

Pam and I are both registered for the 10-hour! Gary and Scott run a great rally, so if you're undecided - give it a try. You'll have a blast!

Just a reminder that registration closes Sept 7th! If you plan to ride, get your registration stuff in and make your reservation at the hotel.
