Got my rally flag in the mail today. Just a week and a half to go!

No rally pack yet - seems like my mail is always a day or so behind. I'm glad the most important info will come by email! But I do have a new toy for the weekend:

Looks sweet, Chaz!!! Now, paint it purple!! Are you sure you're only a day or so behind on mail, I saw several people posting last week that they've received their rally packs. :?: I'm not sure the "most" important is by email, without the rally flag, you're dead in the water.

Well, Jim's email said, "If you do not have the package in your hands by Thursday, April 8, 2010, send me an email." So I'll wait till then. Always good to know exactly when to panic. :D

Hope I don't jinx it but that would be your rally luck. Finally get the bike running and setup perfect only to never get your packet.......

It figures,

I have to head to down to Wilmington, NC for field survey THIS week and weekend. Would have been nice to have been down to see the start of the Rally.

You noticed, eh?

Actually, I'm glad you did. I really appreciate the gift of the tank. If it weren't for my own procrastination, I'd have brought it down to the docks for you to see one Sunday.

Hey Chaz, throw a cheap fuel fiter on the end of that overflow drain hose just in case that sucka decides to become an intake for some reason and suck up dirt.

Chaz, a trick from the Triumph twin crowd: Add a steep angle cut to the dangling hose to prevent a water vapor lock. Trust me, it works well.
