Please join me for a ride tomorrow morning after breakfast at the Old Town Diner in Myersville, MD. Meal at 10:00 am; on the road by 11:00.
Our route will take us on back roads through Boonsboro, Sabillasville, Eylers Valley and Emmitsburg, then south through Carroll and Montgomery counties. I will not be returning to Myersville. Figure around 100 miles total to Rt 495 in Silver Spring. Of course, we'll be crossing over Rts 15, 26, 70 and 144 if you've got to cut out sooner.
I haven't yet gotten the hang of Base Camp, but will bring a couple of extra printed cue sheets on the happy chance that we have so many participants that we need to break up into smaller groups.
See you then!
Henry

What a great ride - I had to bail at Emmittsburg to attend to family obligations but got in some quality riding. A comfy and brisk pace with very few hazards (why would someone park their car in the middle of a blind corner on a 1.5 lane road!?) Didn't spot any deer and very little traffic. Thanks Henry for planning & leading a great ride. Scott

Thanks, Scott. I'm glad you enjoyed the roads.
Hopefully, a nice group ride will be a part of every breakfast meeting.
