I was torn as to best place for this (RTE? Organize a Ride?) so I think most people attending this monthly gathering will look here first.

We often talk of the need for more riding in this club, so let's see what we can do about it. I am coordinating, at each of the breakfast locations, a ride from that location following breakfast. I need help to make that happen! Are you willing to commit to just one date, to plan a route and to lead a group? I ask only the following: post some info about the route 2-3 days prior to the ride(in a separate thread). The more details the better (WE LOVE FILES!) such as paved/gravel, miles, where ya going, end point or loop, etc. You plan the route you want, and if you want to limit the # of followers for your comfort level, that is fine. We want this to be FUN.

All followers should remember the rule: if I don't like this route or group dynamic, I can bail at anytime as long as I tell the person in front of and behind me.

Opportunities like this are exactly why I (re)joined BMWBMW, so I'm going to volunteer to lead the first ride on April 15th.
Given that I'm starting from Silver Spring, Myersville is usually an approximate halfway point on a day ride for me. Depending on the interest of others in the group, I can plan a route from the restaurant that heads north and east, maybe through Thurmont/Emmitsburg and Carroll County or south, toward Shepherdstown/Lovettsville/Brunswick.
If I get feedback in advance, I can plan a route and my ride to Myersville accordingly and will post a few days in advance.

OK, 4/15 breakfast peeps - let's hear some feedback regarding route ideas.

The current weather forecast is for a beautiful day on Saturday. Is there any interest in a post-breakfast ride through Boonsboro, Eylers Valley, Emmitsburg and Carroll County?
This ride is about 100 miles to Silver Spring.

Went there today because I'm not available Saturday. Nice day for a ride. Jotted down their contact info:
