Breakfast June 18

Postby bdimon » Mon Jun 13, 2016 10:29 pm

This Saturday is the third Saturday so it's time for the Myersville breakfast ride. Breakfast is at ten o'clock and you can ride up with me to breakfast, just meet us at the Old Town Diner for a meal, or meet us for breakfast and the ride afterward.

If you want to follow me to the restaurant, I'll leave Manassas at 8 AM and wiggle through backroads to Myersville. I'll wait at the I-66 westbound rest stop until a little after eight. Then I'll ride the backroads through Waterford and Brunswick to Washington County and Myersville, MD.

The weather Saturday is forecast to be gorgeous with a high in the low 80s. Warm enough for a stop at an ice cream at the Moo Thru. As always, bring ideas and we'll decide whether to go here or somewhere else.

Hi Bruce
What time will you make it to Brunswick? I may be able to join in there.

Sadly (a little) it's also great weather to be teaching newbies how to find neutral and use the friction zone. I'll be with y'all in spirit. Scott

What a great day for a ride! Who would have thought there could be a traffic jam in Myersville.

Ed and I ended up riding through the State park. On my way home after, I tried the Curvy Roads option on the Nav V and was very pleased with the route!
