Sunday is breakfast at Clifton. Do you want to revise your plan. We could do a lite lunch break.

Yeah, I know but I thought I'd throw out an alternative since I know some folks further south don't often come to that due to distance and timing and there has been talk before about a lunch meet down in Sperryville.

If you have some takers, let us know the time and place and maybe we'll meet you there.

I plan to go to breakfast in Clifton and wouldn't mind a ride to Sperryville, but reckon I'll hit Thorton Gap (and back) before heading north up to Maryland rather than south.

hopefully someone knows a backroad route from Clifton to Sperryville...

I've eaten at Thorton River Grill - no complaints but there is often a Sunday crowd..

Headmasters Pub has decent reviews for full lunch or there are a couple of Bakery's some with deli choices. "Before and After", "Triple Oak Bakery" (west on 211) and "Creekside" .

Creekside Bakery and Deli in Sperryville is really good but it is a bakery that serves sandwiches and not really a true deli. If they have berry turnovers, buy two for me.

Guess I'll hit the Creekside Deli around noon as I prefer light lunches when riding. Should there be there around noon if anyone heads down that way.
