RTL Friday 11 April - Food Truck Fiesta in Tysons Corner

Postby Chiba » Tue Apr 08, 2014 8:27 am

We used to go to Elevation Burger in Falls Church. We've been to Tim's Deli (also in Falls Church) a few times.

Is it time for a new location? You decide. Suggest. Recommend. Commit. Let's do lunch on Friday.

(see post farther down for meet-up spot)

Let's say meet to eat at 12.

Re: RTL Friday 11 April - who knows a good spot in NoVA?

I'd be up for lunch on Friday. I don't know how easy it is to get to for the masses, but I really enjoyed that kabob place we went to on Braddock Rd.

Though I work in Falls Church I'm not very familiar with the dining choices.

I don't recall Tim's Deli. Where is that?

Check out the food trucks in Tysons Corner, Greensboro Drive and Solutions Drive, about 1/4 mile from Tysons II. There are anywhere from 3 - 6 trucks with a variety of cuisine.

Let me know if you come, and I'll join you.

That sounds like it could be fun on a nice day. I imagine most of their clientele is foot traffic from the local offices. Is there accessible parking for us transients?

You can check out which trucks are located where on http://foodtruckfiesta.com/
According to this site, the trucks are parked on Goodridge Drive, but the street is actually Solutions Drive.

Jason's is where we've gone in the past. I didn't want to presume.

Tyson's seems like it's probably easy access for most people - let's try the trucks. Could you post the address or cross streets of the parking lot you mentioned??

Great suggestion, Jose - I was a bit skeptical, but the chow was excellent. Good selection, too - we'll have to do that again!
