Postby kjackson » Thu Mar 20, 2014 11:30 am

8:30 am. The Main Street Pub - Clifton, 7140 Main St, Clifton, VA 20181

See ya. I'll be the forlorn looking guy in the cage because he has no bike to ride. :-(

I'm a maybe. I'm now the proud owner of THREE KLRs... Can never have too many and they are cheaper by the dozen..... Give a holler if you want to borrow one!

Kermit, I'd love to have you ride 2up behind me, but you have to first drive to my house. I'll be expecting you around 7:45.

Boy, if I had a nickle for every time I heard that. :-)

In all seriousness...Thank you and I appreciate the generous offers, but I'll try to hold out for a while longer.

Speaking of having three KLRs. I have a warm spot in my heart for the KLR and most anything Kawasaki green.

Morton's has a nice R1200R that is singing the siren song....while I definitely see another (at least) two-wheeler in my future I'm really trying hard to not go buy something on the spur of the moment just to scratch the riding itch.

I love mechanical conveyances of almost every type and I'm also really trying hard to not buy a tractor for the farm, but that's another story altogether......Is a tractor a conveyance, a toy, a tool, or all of these? The answer is that it depends on who you ask in my house. :-)

See ya' Sunday morning.

The Main St Pub is a Nice place, first time I'd been there- Enjoyed seeing you all and riding home with Jose, Bob, and Tim...

Evan, it was good to see you again after many years. The Marylanders had a good turn out, so the NoVA folk'll have to reciprocate.

Jose showed us a nice back road over to Rt 29 and Middleburg. It did get chilly so we shortened the ride taking Foxcroft Rd out of M'burg forthwith and on to Lovettsville, Va and and crossing over into Point of Rocks, Md.

I didn't get to meet everyone - who is the gent with the GS LC with European plates :?:

Take care,
