Places To Eat??

Looking for recommendations for places to eat after our Fall Colors Ride to Skyline Drive. My co-workers and I will enter Skyline Drive at Rt 211 and ride the center section South to Rt 33.

So our area of interest is East of Skyline Drive and bordered by Rts 211, 33, and 29.

Griffin Tavern is ride on your way back just of 211. take Fodderstack road north (there is sign pointing to Little Washington I believe) , its a nice fairly twisty 2 lane, take a left where it ends in Flint Hill and the the tavern is just down a bit on your left.

Also the food at Big Meadows lodge is pretty good and the view is outstanding. Best check on their lunch times though as I think they close down between meal times.
The tavern has the better eats, but the Lodge has the better view, so its a bit of a toss up.

Or, if you're not in the mood for Mexican and are craving a good burger, Spelunkers on RT 55 just off RT 340 in Front Royal.
