I thought that would be fun too and I was going to mention that to them, but before I could bring it up I discovered that they had already decided where they wanted to have lunch. I'm sure they would go anywhere I wanted but I didn't even bring it up. I was just flattered that they (of their own volition) wanted to come have lunch with me.

this year I had the best father's day ever: My son actually took the time to go and get something for me all on his own doing. Even though what he got me wasn't that important, it was the fact that he took the initiative and time to do it without being 'forced' by my wife to do it.
As for lunch, I may make it depending on my work schedule. I may try to get out of here early (holiday weekend, and lots of folks are off) and go home from lunch.
