MD RTE July 20 (MY BIRTHDAY)

Postby Firebird on Sun Jul 06, 2008 8:59 pm

Hi folks,

As some of you may or may not know, I am coming to a milestone on the 21st of July. I would like some eatery suggestions and if you like, to join me to help celebrate the occasion. If you also know of any good roads to ride before eating, that would be great too. I am open to suggestions.

Thanks :)

One place in mind could be P.F. Chang's in Columbia, MD

This is the place for tonight:

Bill Bateman's
805 Aquahart Road
Glen Burnie, MD 21060
Phone: 410.760.5535

P.F. Chang's is tasty. Can we ask what the milestone is if we don't know. And since you've posted this in the RTE section, are you inviting us to share in that milestone? :D

The milestone is a birthday. I won't give my age, but it's an even number and I don't look it. And yes, I am inviting you to share in that milestone. :D

P F Changs is a little pricey for most here. There is nothing wrong with the even number 40. I passed it 2 years ago :)

P.F. Changs causes me to pass more than milestones.

Isn't the MD RTE typically Tuesday nights?

Who says I'm turning 40? As for P.F. Chang's, it's just a suggestion, hence my asking for suggestions.

As for Tuesday being the usually RTE, I'm sure that's the case. I wanted to see is anyone would like to celebrate with me either on that Sunday or Monday. If not, I'll just go riding somewhere or hit the movies or something.

I could probably do Sunday. Lots of great places to choose from. I think folks here like a place that can take reservations and I'm 99% sure P.F's doesn't take them. Kauffmann's in Gambrills is decent and takes reservations and has a pretty diverse menu. I'll think about it some more and see what other folks have come up with.

That sounds cool. I'm thinking Sunday would work myself.

Sunday works best for me. I agree, PF Chang's is a little too "formal". Any other suggestions?

PF Chang's isn't formal, but I can work with other suggestions. What is that name of that place in Glen Burnie over by Outback Steakhouse? It's a two person named restaurant. I'll hunt around for the name in the meanwhile.

I don't think we need a place that takes reservations. But we usually try to get a head count and let the restaurant know we're coming if it's a big group - say more than 6 or 8.

I'm gonna go with 42. That's an even number.
