Cool. But isn't the best part of strapping on a backpack getting the hell away from technology?

Yeah but some people use their phone as a GPS. I would never think of texting or Facebooking during a hike. :lol: :lol:

"getting the hell away from technology" includes GPS. :-)

I was thinking that this could be useful when the grid collapses... but then realized when the grid collapses, won't need to charge a phone since the cells will go down too.
