Nice deal. While trying to get an idea of what features the 450 offers?, here is an excerpt I found.

<<<Designed by bikers, zumo's motorcycle-friendly features make it easy to operate while in the saddle. From back roads to rallies, its preloaded maps and high-end navigation features give you the freedom to go where you want. The zumo 450 includes many of the 550's motorcycle-friendly features, minus bluetooth wireless technology, text-to-speech and XM Satellite, at a price that won't break your budget.>>>

So it isn't the bluetooth,xm version, so what? I guess it is a piece of crap then. Get the 550 if you want all the goodies. Oh wait, you want all the goodies in a unit that costs 200 bucks. That's right.

That's the kind of deal that appeals to semi-luddites like me. I want the modern technology, but not all the bells & whistles. Don't need XM, don't WANT bluetooth, and don't need the disembodied voice of the GPS talking to me.

If I hadn't just spent some $$ and considerable time/effort getting a 2nd 2610 and upgrading both of my units to v9 maps, I'd probably jump at this nifty 450.

Even at that price :)

Garmin must be getting ready to discontinue that model - still a good deal though. I picked up a 2720 last year from Costco for a really good price too. Right after the deal expired, Garmin discontinued it. Still a great deal, and still very much used.
